A New Look

I have spent the last weeks updating my shop graphics at Etsy. I wanted a streamlined page, with a crisper graphic set.  I used newer photos of my product.  Showing off a few of my new one-of-a-kind polymer art pieces.  I also spent some time updating my website, blog and twitter pages.  This is all in a further attempt to set my brand and promote it.

During this time, I have also been creating a full array of polymer clay art.  I love covering vessels, bottles and tins.  Upcycling old jars and tins and giving them a new place with colorful millefiori polymer canes.

 I love working with polymer.  It allows me to satisfy my sculpting veins, and the colors I can achieve immediately, work with my color and design background.  It is a satisfying medium for an artist who likes instant gratification.  When I worked with high fire clays, I was forced to wait through many firings only to find the colors weren't where I wanted them or the piece failed to meet my expectations.  Now, with polymer, I have a WYSIWYG medium!!  Perfection.

New Home and More

It's been a few months and alot of water running under the bridge.

Magickal Faerie Portals have premiered at Etsy, and I have purchased my first new home.

My studio is still in boxes, and life is a bit chaotic but I am happy to be a home owner with all the blessings that go with that!

Magickal Portals by Wyndsong

As promised, a reveal of my newest artistic endeavor!  These small little portals are magickal doors created as a conduit for mystical and magickal beings to cross over from their world to ours.  Each door is created from polymer clay!  The "wall portals" are about 3.5" and include a small piece of poster putty to stick it to the wall.  The "shelf portals" are stand alone doors and are approx 4.5" tall by 6" wide and 4" deep.  Each portal is One of a Kind!!

Close Out Sale

Greetings everyone,

As with all artistic energies, they ebb and flow like the tide.  Mine are no different!!  I am moving in a new direction with polymer clay.  The new line is called Magickal Portals by Wyndsong.  They are created to be a link between the mundane and the magickal, mystical world of Faerie, Sprite and other creatures.

As a result of this shift, I will no longer be creating the Celtic Coasters and Gaia Tiles lines.  All items now listed in my shops are reflecting huge discounted prices.  Once the stock I have is gone, it will not be replaced!!  If you always wanted an item from these lines, now is the time to purchase!!

Once again, I wish to thank all my customers for their support of the last two years, and hope to entice you with my new goodies.  Keep a watchful eye for listings and images of the portals to appear randomly!!

Artuit App for Etsy Sellers

Greetings folks,
I was wandering around the Etsy apps and discovered this little gem!!

It's called Artuit. Alan, who built the app, did so for his wife who is an Etsy Seller
It is a desktop app which is linked to your Etsy shop. It creates a website on his servers (if you dont own a domain) or you can have your domain put on a custom server.
The interface is simple to use, it imports all your listings, creates a site ( which you can customize) with all your product.

I set it up quickly, and love that I was able to use my own domain www.wyndsongdesigns.com

Artuit is a great program and I recommend it for all sellers who want to have a bigger web presence without the work of a separate website!!
